So I bought a wild efflo about 2 months ago its doing great I got a ton of new growth on it .I came home and this is what I seen .looks like white silky stings coning from the tips .anyone ever seen this happen to there sps

I've had this happen to a few acros before. I've seen filaments come out when either they are touching another coral or there has been a feeding of a small particle food. Like oyster feast or coral frenzy. Sometimes seen them come out when my stomatella snails spawn in the tank

Charlie...my Efflo did the same thing a couple of times when I first got it.... a year later
I think it's doing fine. Still don't know if it was being irratated or trying to catch food...it likes strong flow and med to strong light.
