I only had a couple of wild corals, well a few now that I feel about it. Some grew well, some were super slow, but I'm guessing its because I had to "guess" about what conditions they needed. They are all different and unique, but most of them didn't have any real value, since they were just tan/brown/yellowish. As for naming them, all you have is then the genus species. Of course its possible that you've got something SO good, that its worth giving a name to. You can call it Brick-brother's Special, to differentiate it from the generic wild type.
I could frag any of my wild type corals, but who would buy it? hmm.
Start with the standard price of $15 or $30, and if you sell out, raise the price, if it doesn't lower it till someone bites.
All of my wild type corals were hitch hikers on life rock, which I was able to target and grow out. Of course this was before my tank leak. Now I just have this one brownish/ pavona-like SPS, which I'm happy to have because it survived the transfer/cycling/etc.
