Working on uploading an image to put, but in the mean time....

I came back today from work and to my surprise my green stylo frag is mostly retracted. I've never seen anything like this before. about 90% of the polyps are fully retracted and the 10% are fully extended. The polyps that are still extended are pretty much around the base, and on some of the tips.

I've had the frag for about 3 months and this is the first time ive ever seen this happen. Tried looking online for an answer and some people suggested this can be due to inadequate acclimation to lights which i dont think fits my case being that ive had it for a while and its been doing great up until now.

any thoughts?

Could be a snail or crab bothered it. My milka stylo was doing it and I couldn't figure it out until I saw my green chromis sleeping in it

dont have any crabs, thought about the snails, but didnt see any near the frag at the time, and I would have thought it would open up relatively quick after that.

my hippo tang sleeps in that frag rack among the corals (like the doofus he is), but he sleeps on the the other end of the rack, plus against the glass, and this coral is on the outer most row.

Thanks for the responses... It looked like that Until the lights went out and I won't see it again until I get back from work tonight so hopefully everything is better by then.

well... it looks like it was a false alarm. coral is 95% open today. still a few little spots not open, but it looks much much better.

sorry for the alarm, but you know what they say... better safe than sorry.

thanks again for the responses.
