150 m.h and sps

can any of you post some pic of sps aquarium with 150 watt m.h ?
im planning to change my reef style form lps and softy to an sps tank and
iv got 2x150 14000k will it work ???

This is a 38 gallon with a 150 watt DE bulb (Iwasaki 50K) and IceCap electronic ballast. A very nice combo.

Has that tang had lateral line disease? anyway back to the thread. Hello bar have you checked out my tank GT'S tank ? thats lit with 6x 150 watt 14000k bulbs and 1x 250 and i'm managing excellant growth under them, 12 inchs off the water. Are you contamplating the arcadia bulbs? they'v managed to keep the brightness whilst having lots of blue very asthetically pleasing to the eye! good luck

im using venture lighting bulb its 10000k+
and when i check with the company they say the + mean 4000k more
I put a 10000k t5 to brake the blue light and its look real nice.
today i put 3 acropora in my tank, and i hope thay will make it.

No, it's the picture of health. It's an aberrant Zebrasoma scopas tang. See the article linked above.

There are many cross breads zebrasoma scopas, from a true yellow ( flavescenes) to a true black which to the inexperienced could look like a rostratum?

The dimensions are 24L x 18W x 20H.

I've been using the 50K for approx 6 mos. The lone Acropora coral is growing and maintaining it's green color.

this is my 75 with 2x150 Ushio DE bulbs on LN ballasts and 2x110w VHO on an LN ballast. pictures are taken with just the VHOs (1 aquasun and 1 super actinic).

heres a couple shots from the end of october. theyre the most recent pics i have with the halides on. as you can see ive done a little rearranging of the tank since then the 75 has been set up since april of 2002 with the contents of my old 40BR, some stuff from my 180, some frags from friends, and a couple new additions.
