Hey, how's the tiny reef coming along over the past month?> Mine is getting overgrown with GSP, to the point I know have a star polyp-encrusted montipora colony I had really worked hard to cultivate. Its not really that big of a deal to me, happens in the wild with other types of corals so I see it as a mini-model of aggressive competition. I wonder what LPS could be used to ward off the GSP with an element of skilled polyp placement...( ie using a strategically-placed polyp or colony to retard the spread or growth of another in the immediate vicinity)
It's been awhile, but I remember how crazy GSP can get.
The pico's OK. It's got about 4 frags of M. Digitata in there. Honestly, I've really lost interest in this Pico after the baby crocea died from the goby attack. Losing the clam was a huge letdown.
I'll probably tear it down soon. I already put the clown goby from hell in my garage tank.
Where did you happen to come across that 50/50 bulb? I'm going to be starting a pico soon and wanted to research my options...this seemed to be the best idea thus far, but I can't seem to locate the bulb lol
