FragFarmer puts on his burglers out fit to go steal clockwork's tank!" MUHUHAHAHAHAA!!!

NICE FREAKING TANK GUY!!! Super clean.
How hard is it to keep the coraline off the glass like that?
Mine grows new coraline every week! LOL! Its mainly an lps and softy tank so I know it must be pretty much a PITA in an sps tank.

Awesome looking tank! My only question is, how do you manage to keep that back wall so clean? I can only imagine the many hours of work that must take :)

Thank you! Honestly I apply very little effort to keep the back clean . I am very happy with this fact because in my old 75 g I couldn't get rid of it and I had to scape for hours and hours just to get it off the front and sides. The back was soild purple . It was always a pita.

I attribute the lack of corraline to the high light and very low po4 . Also I think the blue background helps detour it. Mainly because corraline likes dark areas well IMO black is a dark area and doesn't allow light to penetrate it at all . On the other hand blue does penetrate so the back is actually lit up not allowing much shade even behind the spots that do grow.

Although it has grown well on the bottom and the rocks . Which were white in this pic :D

I spend maybe 30min a week cleaning the back and thats just getting of the brown stuff that the snails miss.

Very cool tank, and your layout looks very natural. Describe your flow, and what you add to keep water quality up. Do you use ozone? What do you dose, and what do you feed?

Fragmaster -ROTFLOL Thanks!

Snapper - Thanks! Here is a breakdown of equipment and such.

Lighting is provide by 3 reef optix III 250wde pendants with Phx 14k bulbs run off icecap ballasts. 2x95w Super actinic vhos.

Filtrating is provided by an Euro reef 8-2 skimmer and ASM G-3 skimmer.

I do run ozone into 1 skimmer which is a Sander 50mghr unit which I am using 12mghr now to maintain 380-400 mv.

I run Phosban in a phosban reactor .

Flow is provide by an ampmaster 3000 closed loop which feeds 4 1in bulkeds two high two low. I also run 3xTunze 6100 streams with single controllers. Total flow is between 100-134x depending on the streams .

For ca and alk maintance I run a Korralin 1502 ca reactor and its controlled by a milwaukee sm122 ph controller.

Cooling is provided by a 1/4 hp westcoast aquatics chiller with ranco controller.

Everything else is controlled by my aquacontroller 2.

As for feeding I feed my fish only . They get nori, cyclopesse and danichi pellets.

Fish load is as follows

5in powder blue tang
5 in Bicolor anthias
3in bicolor anthias
2 2in bangii cardinals
and 3 3 inch lubbucks wrasses.
