I picked up a wild piece of this about 6 inches wide, whats shown is a small part. The polyps are huge, it grows fast enough to push zooanthids off a rock, and the easter egg purple polyps are one of the brightest things in my tank. I have it next to a superman monti and its much prettier. Anybody seen this around?

Looks like a M. peltiformis to me. Pretty common coloration for a peltiformis, many have been flowing out of Tonga and the Soloman Islands for several years now, so not all that uncommon. Great piece though, hopefully it keeps the color, like mine has for the last 1 1/2 :D

You have the same one? I got mine at the boston macna, from Jeremy at CRA. The coloring seems unchangeable in mine, although the polyp extension and growth has picked up a lot since I moved to a new BB tank.

Very pretty, regardless :D I used to have a capricornis with the same color-morph.

Most agreed :D Mine took over my mini frag of the True Undata LE. I Like the pelti, but BY FAR not as much as the ex-True Undata LE :( It's heading for one of my true A. echintata frags, so it's gonna get scraped back now!
