One T/R elegance bud and a 1"x1" red & white chalice frag for a couple micro polyps...no problem!

That arrangement works for me I'll try to encourage the elegance to bud off. It's definitely started a new skeletal base and seperating from the main colony. The bud will probably be small (about 2" polyp when opened) but elegance grow fast when they don't die

Yup...Favites pentagona, the "War Coral."

I'm more interested in what the first shot in the first post is. It's not a lobophyllia, and it's not acanthastrea maxima.

That's not the original"Orange Crush," nor is it acanthastrea lordhowensis.

It's a nice orange acanthastrea echinata, tho. They've really come down in price once availability went up. I picked up this colony in the beginning of the craze for $575, and recently sold it for $100.

Nope, not a blasto. This one has the experts stumped. Atlantis even sells it as "Unknown." The people that have them (and there are only a few) state that it stings acanths as well as lobos wth ease.
