Funny you should ask, I just picked this piece up from Tropical Island Aquarium. Apparently he had it for a few weeks so I asked him to cut me a mini colony. Been looking for a replacement for long time.

What was the cost of that size? Are the tips truly blue? I was never successful keeping these classic beauties alive past 1 month.

Price was a little over $100 about 2.5” tall and yes true blue tips with white body. I had one for over a year that I received from a member but lost it due to alk spike ?

Very nice !! The tyree I’ve Fire is only one I’ve seen ppl able to grow out into colonies

I got a full colony of wild from ACC a few years ago had it about 2 years white with blue. Most people don’t keep par high enough and it turns all blue. I lost mine when I moved

Mine was white body and blue fade up to really dark blue tips, it was small mini colony but a beauty.... I got it from a member here, unfortunately he lost his colony also...


So far my new one is still alive ?
