Are there some corals that should not be in a tank that has SPS Acros.
are there certain corals that have strong chemical atacks that affect SPS acros.
Certain leather corals release chemicals that have been proven to supress SPS growth. Good filtration and carbon can make this a non-issue, but if you're concerned avoid sarcophytons and kenya trees.

lps are very agressive towards sps and leathers too. the lps with long tenticles and sweepers are the ones u have to look out for. acans and chalice not to much to worry about. elegance are the ones to look out for and frogspawns, torch, fox, hammers, some plates, green nepthea, colts, and other leathers and soft corals too
If you keep them apart you'll be fine.. If your able to keep sps alive than you filtration should be adequate enough.. Not really that serious that you would have to worry about it unless they are close enough to touch.. Good thing that guy pointed out how vague my answer was you might have actually sat a lps on a sps:irked:
How's that answer,,lmao..
Not a problem just a coral that will more readily sting another coral.. I have a huge colony that was broken up in to 3 to 4" frags all overthe fllor of my tank
Distance and good filtration are the keys. Make sure you know how far those sweepers can reach. My bubble coral is huge and it's sweepers extend out several inches.
If you keep a good distance, between corals, and use carbon, on a regular basis, it will alleviate a lot of the problems caused. However, yes there are certain corals that can cause aleopathic problems, with SPS corals. Leather corals, Green Star Polyp, and Zoanthids top the list.
