I had it for years, it's huge, and my Perc Clown pair is hosting it between its layers. It recently started bleaching not too long after my clowns began laying eggs on it. Could they be the cause or is it more likely due to a dip in Ph I corrected. Everything else is fine...all parameters, corals, fish. Although my yellow clown goby did just die on me yesterday with perfect parameters. I had it for 3 years and it too hosted the orange cap, but on the other side of it and the clowns could never get to him where he would hide (big coral). Maybe the clowns roughed him up once they began laying eggs, but he was tough. I actually saw him bite my female's tail a few times during feedings.

Anyway, the Monti cap is bleaching like crazy with only a few patches of orange left. I can see new growth on its edges but it still looks pretty bad and it's hard to tell if there are still polyps in the bleached areas. I fragged a few tiny orange pieces with hopes of growing them out just in case so I don't have to buy one again.

Any ideas, advice, experience the same?

Thanks
