whats a good sps to start with

I would like to add a few sticks to my lps tank and see what happens I have a few moti caps and a superman,sunset moti that are doing pretty good I wanted to add a stick now ,I've tryied digi befor but didn't have much luck I feel my tanks doing much better now and I'm not sure what would be a good starter piece . Something hardy and a fast grower. Any suggestions. ? Some people who can keep other sps can't keep digi for some reason I'm wondering if I'm in the same boat

My tank is the same way ,, I couldn't keep sps's for more then a week or 2 ,, and I learned it was my phosphates ,, I got a Sps at the meetngreet ,, and I have it on the saNdbed ATM but when will I know to raise him closer to the lights ???

All my caps colored up and the sunset and I have a highlighter green encrusting monti are colered real nice

Montipora digitata...also Pocillopora and Pavona. I find SPS far easier to keep than LPS, and I don't even have "good" lighting.

I fot rid of a bunch of leathers and toadstool I thought there was some chemical warefare going on in the tank I did notise soon after my coral was doing better

As for lighting I have 2 -250 watt 20' raduim metal halides
2 -48 in t5 h/o gies atinic plus
3 - blue led power brite strips ( love them )

if sunset is coloring then i think your good to go, green slimer grow like weeds for most people

Man I'm the lps king bro lol its killing me I can't keep sps. And don't know y I have a yon of lps and zoos that do amazing

If u can't keep a birdsnest I wouldn't try any acro birdsnest grow fast and r pretty I personally think their one of the coolst sps

See matti ,one of my friends as a ton of nice acro,milli caps and has a problem keeping birdnest

A green digi or an orage one is a safe bet , the higher end ones like the superman digi and forest fire digi tend to need as much care if not more than acros to keep their color

Like I told you and everyone else you have a pice in there now. Let's see how it is and with in 2 weeks I will break u off stuff like I did the dlo, Anthony, and others at the meet n greets.
