Rod's Food & SPS Sliming

I just got the Rod's Food Herbivore blend and everytime I feed it to the tank, some of my SPS would slime up. Is this normal?

This only happens when I feed Rod's Food. Doesn't happen when I feed mysis or cyclopeeze.

I do not know if this is correct or not but could be the vitmans in the food that are causing that I know with oyster feed if not diluted in tank water would make the SOS slime up tank

I believe there's oyster eggs in the food. I soak the food in tank water for about 10 mins before feeding.

Is this detrimental to the health of the SPS?

This should not happen. How much did you add? How big is the tank?

Do you have that many herbivores in there? You should be using the Original or Reef Blend unless you know you need the veggie type.

it's not that bad. just some slime. i feed about half of the cube that is already perforated on the sheet.

i have a tang and flame angel and clowns and some wrasses. i think the herbivore blend is suitable for them.

also, i was told the herbivore blend is just he same as the original but with more veggies.
