Nice work! Love your wood work skills. Now I'm confused, which of the two is your tank stand?
Earlier pix shows a rock scape on a stained stand, last pic shows rock scape on a 4X4 stand.

Awi...your observation is correct however it is the same tank. I built it like this on purpose. The 4x4 is the actual structual support but when I need access from any side of the stand I can just pull the finished wood away from the base for easy access. See pics.

Looks like you going in the right track with the leds. One of my favorite parts when it come to a build and the build has diy leds. And diy stand

What are you going to run the red and green leds off do you have a separate driver

Yes, the uv violet, green and reds will have its own driver in line. Going to run it at 680 ma. They will be controlled with my Apex.

That is great!! That was actually what I was going to do with my fowlr before I got rid of it. In essence it is just a skirt. If I ever have the opportunity to upgrade my plan has been to get the tank with an iron stand, and build a skirt for it.
