So I did my bi-weekly water change wednesday. I tested my alk just now and I'm now at 11.5. I cut my dosing down 15 minutes which is 16.5 ml/m less a day. Ill start here and retest next friday for update results. I wanna get to at most, 10.

So I am getting the itch for change. I have lined up a deal to get some live rock so I'm going to do that after the holiday. I just got new live sand. I got Carib sea aragonite white special grade reef sand. I previously was using crushed coral and it just looks dirty. In a few weeks I'm going to redo this and take it from there. Thanks for the continued support and advice.

The reason for getting new live rock, which will be transported in water so little to no die off will occur, is because I have many smaller rocks piled together and I hate the look. Very poor placement for corals. Hopefully I can rescape the tank nice and will post pictures when done.

I also need to re-level the tank.

Phosphates: 0.12 Hanna (high for some reason) replacing gfo this week. Probably caused by the re-aquascaping & new live sand
Cal - 477 Hanna
Mag - 1360 Red Sea
Salinity - 1.026
Temp - 81*

Changing up my husbandry skills.
10g weekly water change every 10 days instead of my usual 15ish every 2 weeks.

Added Mystery Wrasse yesterday. He's eating well. Finishing my screen tops tonight - I hope I don't find him on the floor when I get home from work. I got the wrong size spline last night.

In need of GFO for my phosban 150.

I need to change it soon so want to get an idea on what you guys use.

I was using BRS GFO... any other options/opinions?

So after a few days of brainstorming and some ideas from other members I got my screen tops done.

I'm going to paint the egg crate black and double over netting so no fish can get through.

Cleaned my mj600 for my phosban 150/ new gfo.

Cleaned my skimmer pump and the skimmer the best I could.
