i modified and carefully broke off the red bottom screen to give better flow to the pellets

Did the reactor come with does clear screens?

No had to buy them sep. Got everything and the screens through marine depot

Up and running with a modded phosban reactor
pump is a maxijet 1200 dialed back
Starting off with 125ml of ecobak pellets


Make sure to soak pellets for at least a day in RODI water and swirl around every once in a while

Follow these steps
(when you are to take off the bottom red screen just pry it each direction very gently it will break the glue n come off cleanly.)

Nice tank. Well done. So you are using Kalk in the topoff as well as two Part?

Kalk - 400ml a day @ 2 tbs and 2 ml of vinegar
alk - 92ml a day
cal - 90 ml a day
mag - finally has begun being utilized alot ( dosing by hand )

im dosing kalk in its own container on one of the pumps on the bubble magus doser.

i don't like the idea of having kalk in my top off.

yea def. crox. I will check all levels tom. and check once a week. I should be able to tell within 2-3 weeks. I like that song as well

kalk dosing 600ml
mag not dosing and staying stable at 1400

well they always say keep your hands out of the tank for a reason. I went to cut some colonies to make some room so the corals don't hit each other and gave myself so much more work :arg:

Thanks king. its so much better in person. From what i can tell it seems to be working well now, i haven't taken phosban offline but carbon is off and water is clear. I also haven't checked levels in a month...
