Tony anchor the columns to the floor with concrete lags and also the beam and use mechanical connectors from the beam to joist with S straps so for sure won't be any movements. Technically you are suppose to do a concrete footing under columns but if your slab is 4" thick it should be ok. Just an opinion

Tusi the lally's just sit on those metal plates so by drilling into my cement in the basement is not worth it. If i see anything out of whack i will take the route i need to :) Thanks tusi i appreciate it.

2 weeks to go before move

Next

Paint 2nd coat on trim (tomorrow)
Get the tank on the stand this week so i can start plumbing
- Pick up plumbing supplies from HD
and last but not least the inset doors :biggrin:
- Pick up Door hinges and handles
- Pick up 2 54 gallon rubbermade roughneck bins

and I'm doneeeeeeee
