A 120 g Spanish Reef

Hi, I,m an spanish reefkeeping.

Tank:

Tank: 120 galons standar 150 x 50 x 60 cm
Sump: 30 galons
Refugium magroalgae: 15 galons

Filtration:

Sistem Berlin with about 50 lbs of Indonesia and fiji live rock
Refugium with DSB and macroalgae (caulerpa and mangrove)
Skimmers: Red Sea Prizm Pro + Acuamedic Turbo Flotor 1000 multi

For quimical filtration i use phosguard & activated carbon some days.

Light:

2x150w Hqi Aqualine 13000k, 2x 40w Blue actinic and 1 x40w Daylight 10000k

Adivitives:

Stroncium, Iodo, Trace elements, DIY buffer, and a nilssen reactor to provide the system continuous drops of kalkwasser to calcium mantenance.

Manteinance:

about 8 galons of ro water with Red Sea salt is changed every week.
Skimmers is cleaned about a week.

Habitants:

zebrasoma scopas, naso lopezi, gramma loreto, centropyge eibli, crysiptera parasema.
SPS: Porites massive, Hidnoporas, Pavona cactus, Montipora digitata, Montipora Capricornis.
LPS: about 30 species o large hard corals.
Sotf corals y coralimorf: actinjodiscus, rhodactis, discosomas, cladiella, sarcopithon, lobophiton, sinularia, clavularia viridis, etc...

Set up tank is Nov-2001

I've got a question for you...

A while back, I was searching the web and found a site in Spain that I think carried 20000K 250 watt double ended bulbs (similar to the type of bulb that you have, only bluer...)

Are those bulbs commonly available in Europe- we still can't get them here in the US?

Hi, Reef Dent.

In Spain, there is some two ended 20000k bulbs, there is not too much avaliables and are very expensive (about 150€~150 us$ ).

The fabricans thar import this are Acuamedic (Acualine 20000k) and Azoo.

I,ve got some friends that use them and are so beautiful and have a pretty blue color.
