Hello, I'm new to this page and thought Id share my little piece of the reef with everyone. This whole project started with an acrylic tank a local reefer was going to throw away. Hey you know the old saying "One mans trash is another mans treasure" LOL!! Here's a good example. So here's my specs;

Equipment:
20Long Acrylic tank
3x65w pc's
DIY stand & canopy
HOB Penguin filter
100w heater

Livestock:
30-35 pounds of various live rocks
5-8 pounds of sand
1 true perc
a handful of both snails and crabs
Various Zoos, Shrooms, and Rics

Future plans:
Hopefully this weekend(if my friend has the time) we'll be building the sump/fuge that will go in the stand and house my CPR SR2(in sump) skimmer as well as some macro algae.

I would also like to finish the stand & canopy :D Ok ok so I was a little anxious. Its still needs staining.

Intergrate a calcium reactor.

Eliminate one of the 65w pc's and replace it with 2 150w HQi's.

At that point we'll see if I need a chiller

Oh yeah, and continue to fill it with Zoos, Shrooms, and Rics.

Hope guys and ladies enjoy. Feel free to comment.

The flash makes the back ground look pretty odd but here we go.

Some people dont like the green yumas, I think they're awesome. Probably my favorite thing in the tank.

Cool zoo rock. Various neon oranges, neon greens, whites, golds, and every combination of the those colors you can think of.

Here's lucky. Back when I setup the tank a local reefer traded me a tube anemone. I figured an anemone in a tank with two clowns and some liverock, I got nothing to worry about right? Wrong! Stung em both translucent. One ended up going to fishy heaven but this lucky guy pulled through. Hence the name "Lucky".

Thats all its had since start up. I'm about to add a sump/fuge so that will increase my circ a bit but I have found with this tank and what I like to keep cirulation isnt so much of an issue. Obviously you need some but zoos ard shrooms arent exactly acros.
