Before I go out and shovel the drive, just thought I would update.
Both firefish are gondo - I think the clowns and the hawk are just so voratious that the FFish starved.
Did a bit of rearranging this week and bought a few early X mass gifts:
A 250w ebo-Jaeger heater to help out what I already have in the sump, and a pinpoint digital thermometer so i know they are working corectly.
Also in that purchase was some new reef epoxy - hence the reason to rearrange.
Oh yea- I cut that huge colt into 3 big colts (one is in my nano) and all are well.
I will trade one to my LFS eventually.

Hey, I'm new to this forum and just came across your 90 while roaming around. Very nice! One of the cleanest looking set-ups I've seen. Most people build the back of the tank up high with LR to step up places to put more coral. I think I like the look of yours better.

None of the rock touches the glass. There is a gap behind the rock structures that I feel improves flow in the tank, and makes it easire to clean the back wall. This was a recomendation of the before mentioned Nick.
My new Kole really likes the extra swimming room it creates too!

It really creates a dramatic look, and I'm sure the Kole really likes it. Plenty of room to swim around, but still a lot of places to hide.
I was wondering why you say you don't use your sterilizer? I've always had fish/invert tanks with a lot of LR and I am getting things together now to start a reef tank. I plan to start slow and easy, but any suggestions would be appreciated.(especially a good set of coral to start with).

1) It is in line through my return and I feel there is too much flow through it to make much difference.
2) It can be helpful in the begining to kill some aquaborn algae, but it was not much of an issue in my tank.
3) I AM USING IT NOw! Just turned it back on as the kole has just a bit of stress induced ich. I turned it back on to kill the free swimmers.
4) It is just another lightbulb to replace.
Long story short - they are not useful in an established reef unless you are adding new fish/coral often.

Ich is gone. Tang and bi-color are good. Tank ate every bit of algae out of the tank. AMAZING!!!
Bi-color is a pain in the a55. The acro is doing OK, but I have a feeling that he has taken a liking to the maze brain- it is not doing OK.
He will not go back into the tank after the move.
All else is super!

The kole tank is no more 
He cleaned all the algea outta the tank, and then would not eat anything else.
Dry algea sheets - no
Calpura - no
flakes - no
algea waffers for FW - no
Mysis - no.
Very sad. All else is well.
Just bought a new home! Expecting to move the tank in a couple months. Will Start a thread when it happens...
