THE REEF PILLAR

Hi im a new member on this forum and i want to share some pix of my reef pillar project. This is not my first aquarium and when me and my family moved to a new house the dream of a reef pillar in the livingroom started. I had a fellow reefer build the plate for the aqurium to stand on not to trash the floor.

To have everything fit in under the tank i had a lot of planning to do so the bottom plate gave me en ahead start on the plan

At first I wanted an AP-702 skimmer and gravityfeed it but as my sump plan grew my skimmer volume had to shrink. The choise fell on an aquacare V1000

Then one day a box came my way

My father helped me alot. Thanx dad.

The stand had to go in the back of the car.

Opening the box was not a sec to late.

There was no opening on the house big enough so we had to make one big enough

We used the box to get in level with the window

It was kinda scary.

I use this net to stitch in the LR with straps

On this pic U see the 3000 l/h i feed the two 20W deltec UVC´s with

The two Deltec UVC and the Sfiligoi lightings 400W each with moonlight and bluelight.

One durso pipe one for the return and one for all cables so i dont have to have them on the outside.
