I,m not sure if i was directed to the right forum from Frank Essers TOTM
page in A A Magazine but I have a question for Frank, what brand of salt are you using ? There seems to be much debate on how poorly some salts work. Do you feel that adding the suppliments compensates for elements missing in salt and the the modest lighting are using? You have achieved a beautiful reef! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Hi,

sorry, did miss that thread 8O

I´m using just salt that is a bargain and which Ca level is ok, as for example Reef Crystals or the salt from Aqua Medic called Reef Salt.
These cheap salts were also recommended from Thomas Pohl the owner of the zeovit system.
I believe that all important elements are inside these two salts.
So maybe I would come along with only weekly waterchanges and without trace elements, but I´m too lazy for this :D

Thanks Frank,
I've been on another forum (shame on me) :), and the hot topic is how bad all the other salts except the hot brand are! But it does seem that you are making up for certain deficiencies by adding the suppliments!
