Inow have a 29 gallon tank, with approx. 15 lbs of live rock. The big pieces of rock are still fairly new. I have one small piece that is pretty neat. It is a bunch of sea fans and polips. The fish that are in the tank are 1 Blue Damsel, I blue Fin Damsel, 1 Niger Trigger, 1 Maroon Clow, and 1 new Lawnmower Blennie. Also in the tank for inverts is a Coral Banded Shrimp and a Fancy Brittle Star. My bottom is medium grain sand. My filtration is 2 sit on top filters and a good power head for water movement. My lighting is a 10k buld and I am trying to get some night lights set up so I can enjoy a different side of my tank. Let me know what you think.

Looks like a nice start, how long has it been running? Some more rock would make it look a bit nicer I think.

How long have you had the trigger? Most people would say it needs a bigger tank than a 29, they grow up to about 1ft long. You might also want to consider a skimmer in the long term with 5 fish.

Could be a great setup given time though, hope it goes well for you.

Well the tank is doing alot better now, I have had the trigger since october, and as of right now, all i have is the Trigger, a Blue Fin Damsel, a Blue Damsel, a Maroon Clown, and a Lawn Mower Blenny, I also have a Coral Banded Shrimp, 5 different snails, and a Brittle Star. The live rock is starting to come to life. As for the filtration I havent had any problems, i am running two sit on top filters, i am going to do more but not till after we move to VA. When I get a chance I will put more pictures up

Hi, I just wanted to warn you that as mentioned, the trigger will get too big for that tank. And also he will probably eat the shrimp at some point. Also, as the trigger gets bigger he might start to fight with the other fish in the tank. They can be aggressive, and in tight situations it only adds to the problem. Just a heads up. Looks good otherwise.
