Shavo,

Your tank is pretty sweet. I've often wondered about the wood in rock structures, and didn't know until reading the posts that such a thing as acrylic even existed. Something to consider.

How often do you do a major over haul on your scape?

well since i went salt i had a very few overhauls, but I want to aquascape something new. me an mr.X basically learned on our tanks and when we first drilled the rock we were rushed and slapped it together. I want to take my time and make something cool. I don;t think the tank will change too much but I want better flow and just want to change it up a bit. other than that all things are cool, glad you liked the thread, any questions let me know
BTW i sent you a pm on your question about the fuge

interior decorating with mr X in my tank this weekend! going to do some new drilling I will post pics of it after we are finished. X says I have too much rock in my tank. I my tangs are getting larger and I may take some out to make more room for the fishies. but not sure exactly yet.

too funny!!! ok well I had some expirience in making rubble rock last night as X has shown!!! But it did come out really good at the end. I was only electricuted about 8 times so all went well. I am going to do a water change this afternoon and make some adjustments on one part of the tank that needs to be arranged and most likely will have a few pics posted on sunday night of the finished product.

I am going to bug bomb the basement today because of a bug problem so I hope all that was done last night is ok hen I am done that.

I will post all results and pics of my tank when all settles.

Thanks Doug I did alot of laughing while making rubble rock!!! Thanks for all your advice on that subject I think i did well in destrying my rock as good as you did!

I have to say, your old rock work was decent with clever placement of the rock but did not appear too novel. Your new attempt is inspiring and makes me want to emulate some of your design. Did you have to use epoxy for that? I can't wait to see a clear picture when the sand settles. Excellent!

hey NEMO no epoxy used at all, some is drilled some is placed. that's it. I did not change the one part i wanted too because I bug bombed my basement and it was alot more than anticipated plus I detailed my car while I waiting. so it will stay as is for awhile we'll see how it all develops. thanks for the the nice words. it came out OK and I like it better than i had it before so all is good. bugs are destroyed as of this point and going to do a water change at some point tonight.
things are running and everything lived!!!!!

I have 3 150 watt 14K, there is a debate on going about the quality of the bulbs I am using. I bought them direct from china for $12.95 each. we sent some of the bulbs to Sanjay for testing and awaiting results from that.
things appear to be good from my perspective so far, things are alive and are thriving. been using the bulbs for 8 months so far and I am going to try and use them till the end of the year, unless i notice anything going wrong them I will change them.
