The first red thing looks to be macro algae and the green algae next to it seems to be bryopsis. The second red things, that looks a bit like a button/flower, is a palythoa which is a coral. And the third red things look to be like sponges.

Your tank looks very similar to mine when it was first set up. :) Good luck and have fun!

OK so I lost all the fish in my tank, and I have no idea how or why or what happen, just woke up on day and two were dead than woke up the next day and the other three were gone, so i started over and now I have

1 yellow watchman goby
2 blue damsels
2 three stripe damsels
2 domino damsels and
some snails and hermits

My live rock seems to be fine ad when all the fish died I tested my water and it was all PERFECT!!! So i thought I messed up and took it to my local fish store and they tested it and said " You couldnt ask for better water"
I am lost and to tell you the truth PISSED OFF

No preditor that i know of, I have had the vast majority (90%) of the rock for almost 2 years and the other 10% for 1 year. The 90% I got from Live Aquaria.com and the 10% were small pieces I got from Local Fish Store.

Well I found the preditor that was killing my tank. It was my Fancy Brittle Star. I cought him in the act, with two Blue Damsels in his arms. So I sentenced him to life back at a Fish Store, they put him in THEIR tank, the one that has all the pretty fish that no matter how much you offer they will not sell any things.

So anyways, now that I have a stable tank again. This is what I got.

2 Firefish Darts
3 Green Chromis's
1 Yellow Watchman Goby
1 Domino Damsel
1 Percula Clown

Hopefully everything goes well, and if it does I am going to convinve the wife to let me start buying corals, but I am a little scared to get into that, Which is easier to care for Hard or Soft Corals?????

Well after being mad at my tank for a long time, I think it is finally running really good. I purchased my first coral the other week and it has taken to my tank very very well. So well in fact that it has grown tremendously since getting it. So I am real happy. I still only have one fish but that will change after I return home from my next Coast Guard Patrol in mid January. I will leave the tank as is for now since it is running great.

Take Care and thank you for looking.
