My 29

Well i finally got a camera(phone) so sorry the picture isnt great but here is one anyways.

29 gallon
-1 maroon clown
-1 sailfin tang
-3 damsels
-1 feather dusters
-various snails and crabs

nothing special but i have a (very)limited budget

I hope the picture is okay I have never posted one before....

umm yeah about that.... the guy at the LFS said they dont get much bigger than they are, but well see. im saving up for a 120 now anyways. so as long as it stays the same size for about 6 months i think ill be good.

It may be a desjardin tang??? im not sure what the difference is but im not sure...

It's a Sailfin Tang, not Desjardini. Desjardini are a little more green and don't have yellow tails like regular Sailfin Tangs have. I'm glad you're saving up for the 120 because Sailfin Tangs get to over a foot in size. The 29 is way too small for him. I don't recommend you speak to the same person at the lfs again that you spoke to about the tang.
Just another note. The other fish you have in there are pretty aggressive. You're going to have to be careful. I've had damsels that wouldn't even let me clean the tank. They were very nasty and would continuously bite my hand and believe me it hurts. The Maroon Clown's also known to be a little iffy like that.

my maroon is pretty cool in that sense. but he's constantly re-arranging corals on the sand bed. he seems to have created his own cave as his host, and keeps trying to make it bigger. he carries frags and spits them in the water column. sometimes i find a frag that was on the sand bed, high on the rockwork upside down. 8O

O my damsels are afraid of everything especially my hand. I dont even see them when i clean my tank and so far i have never seen my clown or damsels be aggressive towards each other or the tang. And hopefully im getting the 120 and if not I know a few people who have tanks that i can give it to. O and the guy at the LFS doesnt work there anymore. fired i think
