very nice tank....how do u like the powermodule, i just put in a order for a 36" should be at my doorstep in 2 months or so....

how is that skimmer?

The powermodule is one of the best, if not *the best* T5 Fixture on the market- A 6 bulb Powermodule = 12 bulb Tec, double the par, (according to GrimReefer).

The ATB skimmer- Nothing can touch it.. period. I've seen an ATB Medium & Reeflo 250 running side by side- The Reeflo shut down, stopped skimming completely while the ATB just kept skimming.

dam that sounds like one hell of a skimmer...to bad its $1000!!
cant affotd to drop nearly another $1000 right after ordering my powermodule.

Yeah, The weak US $$ is killing us right now. If all things were equal, The ATB would only be around $500-600.. I got it before the price increase- $750...

You will not be disappointed with the powermodule- I used to have MH's over my tank and was worried about my corals not getting enough light.. boy was I wrong *I'm getting more par, better color, less heat, fewer watts, & a very sleek/sexy fixture. There was nothing wrong with my MH's, I just wanted to save some $$ & not have to worry about cooling my tank so much..

The only thing my MH's had over the T5's is shimmer- I could honestly care less, shimmer is overrated
