it's been exciting for me watch some of the pale corals that i acquired begin to color back up. i knew they had great potential and i hope they don't disappoint! i'm also starting to see some of the metallic coloration that the camera doesn't really capture. i'm sure they will be unveiling their true colors as weeks and months go by.
sorry for the different brightness levels.. i didn't tweak exposure compensation as much as i should have. d40 with kit lens.
i had to lop the top off of this one where some algae was growing over dead tissue. starting to turn a pinkish hue with a hint of green.
getting darker- was very pale when i got it
appleberry coming back
a. delicate (i believe)
microlados? (that's the base of my teal stag that rtn'd in the bottom right) :irked:
my centerpiece- fast grower!
need to get a top down of this guy
anyone want some frags of my cap? color is awesome.. it needs to be trimmed down.
i'm tweaking my light setup to see if i can help the growth and coloration a little.. trying a lumenarc pendant which i've read great things about.
my froggie. a few in MR should have this. i originally got this from stingnyc years back. it grows heads surprisingly quickly.
the rack. i love the topdown of the pearlberry. redplanet is more like a greenplanet at the moment!
the rack is from blackrock reef. great design, perfect spacing for the ORA plugs. i keep it low on the back glass so it's not unsightly when viewing the tank from the front.
All in one tank is great because when im ready to start up again ill just come by with some fragging sheers and a bucket :tongue1:. I gotta swing by with your salt and take a look at the tank. Hows ma goby doing That guy had sooo much personality.
matt i'll be home tonight if you wanna drop by- a few of us placed a big cleanup crew order and we'll be sorting through it all. the goby is awesome.. he's usually watching me when i'm up in front of the tank.
