Coral Banded Shrimp and Helfrichi Firefish

So I just got a pair of these Helfrichi firefish last night and i already caught my shrimp with the goby in its mouth trying to eat it. Luckily I saw it and rescued him. Now his high fin is missing and he's sitting on bottom of tank in corner. Before they were both happily swimming around now they hide. ( btw I gave the shrimp a big piece of seafood to keep him occupied)

Will the goby survive?
Can keep the coral banded shrimp together with Helfrichi? ( I'm thinking not!)

If you have a QT tank, I would say yes.

No qt tank. He's just sitting in the corner. Surprisingly the stupid coral banded shrimp isn't trying to eat it again. He's missing both side fins and the top long fin. So sad

Damn man that sucks id deep fry that shrimp asap. I have one I have to try to catch tonight likes anthias.

Someone will pick up the shrimp tomorrow. If not petco it is. It's my fault for not thinking this can happen. At least the other one is chilling and eating. Anyone know if I can get another to pair him again? Or it's too late

my coral banded shrimp only goes after my flame angle lol and is friendly with all others
