How do I remove kenya tree.....

does anyone know of a way to remove a kenya tree from live rock.I am re-doing my tank and i would like to remove all of my kenya from the rocks.I can start by fragging, however how do i get the remaining tissue off?

scrape it off with a razor, fingernail, stick or anything else you can find.
Then put some superglue or Kalk paste on the spot to keep it from growing back.

Frag it and put the rock under boiling water.

Just pull it off completely by hand, works great.

lazibonez-what do you mean by pull it off? wouldn't it just rip and leave the foot.
crox99- how's it going,I didn't want to kill off the other stuff.I was also thinking maybe a powerwash.

What if you cisel the foot off the rock?

didn't think of that,want to have as little damage to the rock.

You have to pull it off from the base or foot to get it off completely.

Once you frag it off you could stick a bit of that fragging cement stuff on it. Why can't I think of the name... You know it comes in a tube and its like clay. Someone help me! Its on the tip of my tongue!

thanks to all for the suggestions.
I'll be trying all:
pull-if that leaves the foot then
scrape- if that doesn't get it all then
glue or kalk
but I'll be fragging the majority if pulling doesn't work.

using ic-gel or other underwater glue is a GOOD IDEA . It will prob. privent any growth.
