Quick question ?

I'm very new to the reef like , I have candy cane that hasn't opened yet had it for about a week where is the best place to put it? . It's a 5 head my tank is 30x30x18 with a 4 bulb t5 lamp setup

Check your parameters first. Candy Canes like low to medium flow. Place it low to mid range on tank.

Mine dont like light , there in the shade under a overhanging rock

Whats your water parameters, lighting schedule, livestock etc...?

Some info on the tank may help diagnose the problem.

Unfortunately many of us have bought perfectly healthy coral only to have them die in our tanks...many times the reason for them not surviving is never known.
