Tank Growth, Death, Evolution

Since I am a compulsive photo taker, I have pictures of my tank at just about every stage (with the exception of between my 40br and my 75 - I had some kind of issue and everything began to die. I was too depressed to take any FTS). So, without further ado....


11/11/06- 29g tank w/ power compacts - cycled and ready for livestock!

11/25/07 - finished upgrade #1 to 40Br w/ MH

... and then I started losing corals.

10/05/08 - Update #2 to 75g

that's very cool. I don't think I would have the patience to organize all my tank shots like that.

Since I use flickr, I just dump my full tank shots into a set. easy.

wow the progression of the great reef tanks. how'd you like the midas blenny?

I really liked him, but he didn't live very long. I got him in August, I think and he died before I switched tanks in November. He was never sick visibly, and I had all docile fish. He was fine and eating one day, and then gone the next. And my 29g tank had a 100% enclosed canopy. He probably had some kind of internal infection or something that I couldn't see. He was very active though and fun to watch. I am considering trying again with one in my 75.

Thats a really nice large feather duster you had in the earlier stages, where did you find one so nice?

I actually had it until this past December. It lost his crown and its tube disintegrated. I definitely got it for $9.00 at the Petland out near where Ronen lives. it just looked larger in the early stages because the tank was smaller.

interesting to see that you have kept two islanders rock structure look, usually people intend to redo aquascape from time to time when they get bored..

I would have liked to be more creative, but like having the open space for the fish to swim and I lack the patience for drilling holes in rocks and sticking rods through them and the like.

I am kinda upset I didn't get one and got a Starry blenny instead. I am hoping my starry starts to be more outgoing and personable in the tank vs. hiding.
