As the subject says, we have an opportunity to obtain this extremely rare reefsafe trigger. Xanthichthys caeruleolineatus, a close relative of the Crosshatch Trigger, is from deeper water off of Christmas Islands. Only a handful are collected/imported to the US each year. We will be able to deliver the fish tomorrow after 6pm. This is a once in a lifetime offer, please call for pricing - 914-262-5711. Order needs to be in by 5pm to get the fish.

Romain, we got an 8.5" one today as opposed to the 12". I'd say a 150-180 minimum. They get about 13" in the wild. He's such a cute fish. Acclimating as we speak.

BTW, that pic does this fish no justice.

I don't know how the $2500 Absolutely Fish was asking came about. I saw it there and it was $1100 dollars, not $2500. It seems prices sometimes get a bit blown out a bit here. It was sold since I was around when I saw it get bagged up. As for rarity of the item, you have to remember that whether it is a piece of coral or a fish, they are rare in the WILD. Even if someone has it growing in their tank, it doesn't negate the fact they are hard to obtain due to depth, location, or politics on the item. Absolutely Fish also has a tank raised resplendens angel, which if you look it up, is insanely rare and never seen from the WILD. That is what dictates the price in the industry. Not pieces in peoples tanks, that isn't the ocean. I buy all my rare items from Absolutely Fish and don't have a problem with what they ask. If you were to see the care and the system they use, I wouldn't trust these types of fish to anyone else and I am talking about items like goldflake angels or mystery wrasses. Items like the goldenback, resplendens, sanguineus hogs, and conspicillatus angels. Just keep that in mind.

Are you affiliated with Absolutely Fish? Someone posts a wrong price and you take it very personal. Seems fishy to me.
