Interested in RBTA or bright gbta- ideally from a mixed reef tank. These are one of my favorites and I always hear how they can sting other corals. I don't really have other coral colonies so I want to add safe ones first.

Thanks for reading

Hey! I wanted to wait 2 more months but heard that they will sting other corals nearby. I'm thinking if the tank is somewhat empty, maybe they'll find one spot and not move around? Please correctness if I'm wrong and thanks for the advice!

No, this is a terrible idea.

Ninja, keep in mind that anemones can and will move whenever they want, regardless of whatever else is in the tank. It might stay settled for a year and then decide to walk all over the place.

+1
one day they decide not enough light=move

One day they decide to much flow=move

One day your hermit or snail finds itself behind the anemone=move

They will move around when it convince them,
I say 6-8 months after your cycle is over it should be safe...not to say that I haven't bought one before that time and it worked, but I also lost a cupple of anemone for "doing it my way"
