just bought a new house and need an ro filter for drinking water. dont need the di part but i can always unhook that if i need to. hoping to trade for one, i have lots of stuff including live rock, tanks eheims, heaters etc. will also buy lmk

try brita or pure. its not RO, but its good for drinking water. not that NY water needs any filtering.

Irvp, where in NY are you? Im in the city and I installed an RO drinking water set up. I change my sediment filter every month. You would not believe how nasty it gets. I thought the same thing not needing any filter, boy was I wrong.
