yea that would be awsome but i only have a 45gal reef. So i would probebly need a smaller tang. But i have no idea why fishtown has so many in one tank. At my pet store we have a purple tang thats about 6in in a 45 gal tank with a lionfish, so i dont know how they fit that many into one tank.

Purple tangs are very aggressive, they're right in line with Powder Blues, Sohols & Yellow Tangs.
The Yellow Eyed or Kole are a bit more peaceful and will probably afford you the opportunity to introduce another tang later on if you choose to do so.

For a 45 gal.......DEFINITELY!
I had to get rid of my baby tang as they are constantly on the move & will be the hogs for food, if you have smaller fish that will have to compete.
They grow fast & deserve more room.
Be advised that they eat A LOT & crap even more, which can affect your water quality.

You can get small tangs now, but if you don't plan on up-grading tank size in the future..........I wouldn't do it.
Believe me, they are pretty & I wish I could too.
The Kole tangs are one of the smaller tangs & would be a better choice.

the reason why i believe the tanks are so massively stocked is b/c if you put the tangs in a community they're less aggressive/space needy ,,,isnt that right?

sometimes, it depends on the tang i guess. In this case they have alot of aggressive tangs, but im not sure, they must have a hell of a filter on that tank to keep it that clean with that many fish.
