my store is selling an r.o unit for $230. Its a 3 stage that produces 60gpd. I use it at home and its a good one. Its made by kent. Its the Kent HI-S.

Search on ebay, you can get a new unit for less than $150 that will produce 100GPD and it's 6 stages. I recently sold mine for $75 , no longer have the use for it.

thanks for all the responses. i will probably get the ebay one. i've heard that i should actually get one that is rated for 75 gpd. nanareefer, did you get alot of waste water when you used it? what do you think was your clean to waste ratio?

No clue, never really stood around to watch it work. It worked well though, ratio wise I can't help ya there
