Professional Vacation Care?

Hi all -- I'm going on vacation for a couple of weeks. I don't want someone that doesn't know anything about the hobby taking care of my tank, and I don't have an ATO set up yet. I need someone to come and top off the tank a couple of times. Can anyone recommend any good aquarium service providers that could look after my tank while I'm gone? I'm in Tribeca. Thanks

why not just buy an ato? would be a lot cheaper than paying a stranger to come in your house, just to add water. imo

I don't have any room for the extra water container under the tank, although I am looking at just a temporary ATO while I'm away that draws water from a large container in the room.

i think thats a good idea, then you can use it when ever your away. their is someone selling a jbj ato in fs thread.

for the future trip, i think the temporary ato set up is a good idea.
but i highly suggest testing it when you're home and get familiar with it before leaving any "automation" unattended.
unfortunately in this hobby, many things can go wrong, and as in murphy's law, it will at the worst possible moment....in this case while you're away.
