Macro Algae

Hello MR,

I setup a 20g long as a fuge and I'm in need of some algae.

Has anyone ever ordered from this place: http://www.live-plants.com.
It seems like they have a good variety of algae.

I posted in the want to buy section, but it seems that no one around here has any algae.

If you look at what people sell on ebay for a few strands and what he sells a portion for the same price, it's a ridiculously large amount!

I had it shipped USPS Priority, my only recommendation is to get upgraded shipping to overnight. He packs it well but I some of them started to melt and it's like a dead snail smell when you open it. They all survived but some like half the portion was discarded which was still a lot left but they all eventually got eaten by the tank inhabitants.

Most of his stuff are seasonal and sold out, I'd wait when he gets more availability on them if you want different macros probalby when it gets warmer.

That's the thing for the price he's selling them I think you can't go wrong. No one around here has any for sale. I would rather go local but no replays to my want to buy thread.

Someone on reef central just posted a picture of there shipment, it's a big portion.
I'm deff considering to place my order.

Those bags don't really show you what's inside but you won't be disappointed, I wasn't.

My only recommendation is to pay extra for overnight if you want the finer or delicate leaves macros.

Got my order today, you will not be disappointed if you order from them, came tripled bagged with three heat packs. The bags that are half full are coralline algae, the rigid one is really nice goes from purple to pink. Other than the coralline the bags came full and packed. 100% satisfied
