LF: Someone to build very simple frag tank.

I'm having trouble finding 3'x2' bins to use as a frag tank. Need as cheap as possible.

Would like a price quote on:
-3'x2' 6"-7" deep
-No overflows or frills, just need a box.
-Doesn't need to be clear acrylic (only looking at it from the top) if there are cheaper alternatives.
-Can use the cheapest materials as long as its reef safe, scrap/recycled acrylic with scratches are fine.

How about a hydroponics tray. They come in all different sizes.

I looked but they dont seem to make 3x2' Plenty of 2x2 and 4x2' or 3x3 though.

I can give you a hand on this, happen to have a sheet of ? acrylic panel in my shop used only ? of it, should be enough to make your tank but need to confirm tomorrow to check the remaining material. If I do have enough I can drop it to you when I swing by your place to pick up the frags this weekend.

Thanks for the offer Ken. I would love to build it myself, I just don't know if I can cut super straight, flush lines. Any hints on that would be great. I have a circular saw, hand held router, miter saw..... umm dremel. Don't you need a table saw for the nice cuts?

I have a table saw if you need several cuts, but i'm not expert in cutting it....lol! or you can bring It into a shop and have them cut for you. But how nice is the cut is another questions.

or you can also buy a few pieces of 3/8 glass and glue it together. It'll be a fun project. since it's only 3x2 x 6 or 7 inches height, it won't be too bad.

I did my 4x2 frag tank by myself....it wasn't too bad, silicone isn't too bad....hahhaha! Just sell a few frag, you'll have the $ for glass...hehehhehe

haha thanks sam, well Ken offered to cut it for me. He's confirming if he has enough acrylic and if he does, I'll attempt to build it myself. :3
