Dean i'd like to get a better look @ the overall bodies of the corals. ming has a pic of his suncoral under daylights and it's fully open.

they will open during daylight if you feed them @ that time.

Yea they do, my black and orange both open fully when they get some food.

Scarf, they open up fine during the day if you feed them. I even kept mine closer to the top for a while to make feeding easier for me and they still opened in the day.
Personally, I don't feel lighting effects sunpolyps in any way... good or bad.

Jon, you said in the PM that you wanted to see the bodies, so I decided not to feed them so you can see shape.
Pics 1 and 2 show the better tissue of the orange one. Pics 3 and 4 show the parts of the orange one that were stung by my galexia that I told you about in PM. Most of what is seen on top of the orange one is new growth (or I should call it "grow-back"). obviously, the yellow and black are behind the orange. LMK if you are still in. No rush.
