Live sand

Looking to buy a bag of live sand to seed my tank - preferably someone that lives close to me - 23rd and 8th Ave. Thanks, Andrew

andrew the best and cheapest thing to do is buy dead sand and seed it w/ a cup of some else's sand. since it's a small tank, a bag of 2olbs will do.

everything is great, the tank looks good, i will have to take some pics and send them to you...i replaced the crushed coral with 20 lbs. of dead sand over the week and am looking to seed it with some live sand. i currently have 2 blue leg hermit crabs, 2 red, and 1 green, i also put a little maroon clownfish in...there is a kenya tree in there (courtesy of aaron), and all the stuff you gave me is looking healthy...i might go for a bigger tank soon but you saw how small the apt. is...

remember to add the livestock slowly.

so you don't need a bag of LS to seed your tank. a cup or ziploc bag will do.
