went to 4 hardware/plumbing stores in queens. they all did not have it only brass fittings. i dont wanna pay 8 dollars shippung for a .75 cents product...

any local ideas?

Sometimes the cost of the item including shipping is still worth the expense for the job it gets done.

I once needed two 17" long galvanized gate hooks. In order for me to order them, I had to order a case of 12. It cost me about $35 for 12. I used only two but I needed them. I still have 10 left. But it was worth it to finish the job the way I needed it finished. I don't compromise when it comes to doing something right or doing something on the cheap.

well you are absolutely right. i did make the p[purchase online after i could not find the part in any store.. i did order like 4 pieces in like every size because you could never have too many plumbing parts

lowes has them cause home depo don't replace inventory often.you can also go to Granger ,they have everything and have provided stuff for all my hobby needs(Hard to find items). Granger requires a business but they also do walkin's .guys are cool .punch up granger or lowes and see if the gas & ride com paired to shipping cause sometimes like Master said....yes a Master.getting the job done without all the headaches.:splitspin
