I have a copper band, I started him off on live brine to get him to eat then switched over to mysis and he then he bagan to eat what I baught him for my aptasias he ate them all!!! Now he actually eats flake. This is super score to find a cbb that eats as well as he does. Let me know if you are intrested.

how do you get him to eat flakes? mine is over a year old in my reef but he only eats frozen food, almost all type but no dry food at all. i've tried over 15 type of dry food. tried soaking in garlic, selcon, zoecon, huffa, etc. nothing.
there hasn't been a single aiptasia in my tank since he's been here. so it takes a little more time to defrost the frozen cube, i guess that's only a small trade off.

Hay tomtoothdoc,
I didn't get him to eat the flake. I also tryed what you did but also no luck. I once ran out of frozen and only fed flake for a while and I think with his hunger he began to eat the flake. Like I said he is a score. Good luck with yours they are hard to keep so be happy that yours is eating.

All those who have the CBB in reef tanks, how are they doing and your corals. Have you notice any change, like in the quantity in Copepods. I know my CBB have cleaned house as well as eaten all the aptasia problems I had in my tank.
