Why not just cut your own thru local glass shop (159th St and Northern Blvd, purchased glass top for dresser for good price, imo)). Depending on the mfr of the tank, the rim size may be slightly different.
You can cut them into any sizes you want depending on the width of light strip. Make the rear one wider than the front one. I believe commonly avail glass canopy made by tank mfr is either 1/8" or 3/16" thick. You can just go to lfs to look at the one on display and match up thus you can buy hinges and back strip which will fit. Total Cost may be either equal or cheaper depending where you get the strip/hinges (Def not at FT). You can order them online but dont see a need to do so for few bucks.
Glass itself should be def cheaper even when edges are sanded.
Wood Cap? If have tools, table saw, miter saw, drill, etc, should be able to diy beautiful one and maybe even can match the colors of your furniture. Take a look at the samples on display at lfs for design and how it is made to use as guide line.
Just a thought!
