CC, here's a link to the WavePoint on our site. You should seriously check them out. Exceptional fixture and they are priced so good the value is spectacular.

Bulbs are included
Mounting legs are included
Glass splash shield is included (not acrylic that yellows and hazes over time)
GFCI protection is wired into the power cord

The odds are stacked that the SunBlaze fixture is not set up for a 'wet' environment. Tough to tell but it doesn't mention whether or not the T5 endcaps are waterproof. I see no mention of any bulb or endcap shield.

The GE 6500k bulbs they include are throw away bulbs. I don't know anyone who runs such yellow bulbs. Since you'd have to replace them with quality bulbs, D & D, ATI, UVL, lets just call it an average of $20 per bulb. That's $80 more to shell out, right away.

I noticed the wording of the 'on/off' switch seems like there is only one switch to control all four bulbs. Trying to simulate sunrise/sunset with actinics and 11k or 12k bulbs looks like it's out of the question.

My suggestion is to stick with a fixture meant for the application you're going to use it.

There's a new led fixture available from marineland. About 90 bucks for a 2' fixture. A friend of mine has one and loves it. Can't swear by personal experience tho. It has separate controls for the lights can mimic day night or lunar. On a 20 gal it might be just the ticket.
