I would look at a few different ones

Eheim
Gen-X
Mag Drives (careful, they sometimes rust)
TUNZE (way expensive)

If I were you, I'd start with a Mag12 - it will lose about 150gph and be more like 1000 gph anyway. BUT, you have to really keep your eye on them so the screws don't rust. They are reliable, cheaper than most and durable.

Marino, I don't, sorry - I saw NYCMatt's, though, and for the price, it might be a good start for you. Externals are way better than internals anyway. They don't typically run as hot as the internals.
