Makeup artist uses dead tropical fish as fashion accessories

On her Instagram page, Eyla says she purchased and killed the fish (anglefish, tetras, barbs, et al.) for the purpose of placing them on models to photograph.  She justifies her actions by saying: “Remember please the last time you eat meat and what it did before being eaten. Don’t judge and you will untried.”

We’ve seen and wrote about our fair share of aquarium fish exploited in the name of art, but this one still stands out.  Public outrage on your Instagram comment section has only seemed to embolden her, so we unfortunately may be seeing more animal carcasses on people’s faces in the future.
