Automatic multiparameter test and corals by Reef Factory at Interzoo 2022

It’s hard to choose what to give priority to: a great and fantastic product like the Smart Tester, the automatic multiparameter tester, or the absolutely beautiful corals on display at Reef Factory‘s booth.

The guys of Reef Factory were fantastic! They set up the booth exactly as I like: white, linear, with just a few things of great quality, and a beautiful aquarium with wonderful corals. So I want to thank Aleksander Alski, the sales manager, that thoroughly explained the Smart Tester, and Marco D’Ambrosi, the Italian distributor with Aquariatech, whose booth we’re going to see in detail in the next days (here in italian), a friend of mine for a very long time.

So, since we had to choose a photo to open the article with, we eventually decided to prioritize one of the biggest releases at Interzoo 2022, the Smart Tester. It’s an automatic multiparameter tester, with the only foresight that every Smart tester has to test one parameter at time. But we’ll talk soon… For now let’s begin with our usual video about Reef Factory, then we’ll continue with the corals and we’ll end with the Smart Tester.

But before revealing the trick, let’s start with our usual video.

Before you go on, here is our video where you can see the booth in action. Clicking on the link, you’ll be directly sent to the part about Reef Factory, but you can also watch the rest. The video is in Italian, you only have to turn the English subs on! Enjoy!

So after we mentioned the Smart Tester in the opening, now it’s time to show you the corals, since there were few booths with them at this Interzoo.

Wonderful color, right? The more time passes, the more I’m becoming obsessed with this colorful LPS! As usual, I suggest to you to open full screen at the first picture and then swipe to see the rest.

Very beautiful corals, but they don’t have to distract us from the most important news of the booth, which is the presentation of their new products.

Reef Factory Smart Tester

As we said in the opening the object of desire is called Smart Tester. The product isn’t for sale yet, but at the booth they said that it will be soon. They’re running tests right now in order to release it this autumn.

Reef Factory Smart Tester

Smart Tester is that small box that you see in the picture. It’s a multiparameter tester that can test only one parameter at time. I’ll explain better: the Smart Tester can measure anything, nitrate, phosphate, calcium, magnesium, and many other parameters, some of them still under strict secrecy by Reef Factory. But it can only do one parameter at time. If you set it with the reagents for nitrate, you can only make it measure that. Continuously, even every hour, but only those. If you wanted change and measure phosphate you’d have to change the reagents and at that point you could proceed with the measurement… of phosphate, not nitrate anymore.

I’m already thinking of buying 3. One for calcium, one for nitrate and one for phosphate, and with my Kh Keeper I would always keep an eye on the most important parameters. And I’d measure magnesium once in a while. The price should be about 500 euro, but for now Reef Factory is waiting to have more details before giving a definite price.

We really liked it, and what do you think?

At the booth were also all the other products released by Reef Factory. For example, the KH Keeper, but also pumps, lamps, and all the rest. Based on what I’ve tried, they have great products with a price all in all quite reasonable for what they offer. So, it’s a great company to rely on.
