Well known for the wide variety of sharks in the region, Africa has a booming SCUBA tourism business that is evidenced by the incredible free online magazine African Diver.  The latest issue shines the light on several new dive destinations and quite clearly the focus is now equally shared between the big sharks and the smaller critters on the reefs.  The plethora of accomplished underwater photographers now visiting the African coast have led to some amazing macro photos of this type of muck diving, including some animals rarely seen before.  Be sure to check out Issue 21 which is now available for great eye candy and some really interesting facts about this exciting new destination.
